Why the Nebraska Safety Center?
Motorcycle Safety Course offered by the Nebraska Safety Center include:

BRC provides the rider with basic, introductory, formal instruction about how to ride a motorcycle. This 2-day course is composed of approximately 5 hours of classroom and 10 hours of range instruction. Successful completion of the course qualifies the Participant for the motorcycle Endorsement "M" on their Operator's License. Motorcycles are provided for use during the course. The course cost is $250.
2024 BRC available classes: May 4/5, May 11/12, June 1/2, June 8/9, June 22/23, June 29/30, July 13/14, July 27/28, August 3/4, August 17/18, August 24/25, September 14/15, September 21/22, September 28/29, October 5/6. Class time is 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. both days.

Participants should be prepared to ride in adverse weather conditions and dress accordingly.
If instructors deem a rider to be a safety risk to themselves or other riders, he or she will be asked to step out of the class. There will be NO REFUND issued.
Successful completion of the Basic Rider Course waives the requirement to take the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) written examination and road test, which qualifies the Participant for the motorcycle class “M” endorsement on their Operator's License.

Rescheduling –
A change of class date may be possible, pending availability of seats. This request must be made by the Monday prior to your scheduled class. A $50.00 rescheduling fee will be required after two course reschedules.
There will be no refunds after the Monday prior to class except for documented emergencies.
Cancellation Policy Participant -
To receive a refund, notification must be made more than 5 calendar days prior to the start of the course, less $25 processing fee.
No refunds will be made to participants that cancel with less than 5 days’ notice, are late to a class, dismissed, counseled out, voluntarily leave, do not pass a written or riding evaluation, have previously rescheduled, or missed a segment of either course.

Classes may be canceled without notice due to inclement weather, lack of registrations, or other unforeseen problems. In such cases, participants will receive a full refund or may reschedule for a new class date.

BRC2 is designed as an excellent skills refresher and enhancement course for the rider who has experience motorcycle riding, either in the past or currently. During the 8-hour course, the rider practices and demonstrates riding skills on his/her own motorcycle. This one-day course is composed of approximately 3 hours of classroom and 5 hours of range instruction. The cost of this course is $150.
2024 BRC2 available classes: March 30, April 20, April 21, May 18, May 19, June 15, June 16, July 20, July 21, August 10, August 11, September 7, September 8, October 12, October 13. Class time is 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
